Follow these steps:
- Navigate to the directory: \GameName\renpy\common
- Locate the file named 00console.rpy
- Edit the file using a text editor such as Notepad++
- Find line 97
- Change “config.console = False” to “config.console = True” (Note: capitalization matters)
- Save the changes and exit the text editor
- Return to the game and press Shift+O to open the console.
